Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam at 6:00 a.m. for a 5-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Known for its open savannahs, similar to the Serengeti, Mikumi is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and buffalo. By mid-morning, you'll start your first game drive, witnessing the park's abundant wildlife against a stunning backdrop of mountains. Around noon, stop at a designated picnic site for lunch, surrounded by nature.
