2-Day Fly-In Nyerere Safari from Zanzibar

Your journey into Nyerere National Park starts with an early morning flight from Zanzibar, taking off around 7:00 a.m. and arriving by 8:30 a.m. As one of the largest protected areas in Africa, Nyerere offers expansive landscapes filled with riverine forests, open savannah, and abundant wetlands. On your morning game drive, spot diverse wildlife—elephants, buffalo, and zebras roam freely here, and it’s a prime place to see hippos and crocodiles in the rivers. Around noon, pause for a picnic lunch, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.
