Depart from Arusha at 7:00 a.m. for a 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is famed for its tree-climbing lions and the alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the park's diverse habitats, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the lake shore. Keep an eye out for elephants, hippos, and the park's rich birdlife, including pelicans, storks, and colorful kingfishers. Around noon, enjoy a picnic lunch with views of the lake, taking in the park's tranquility. Continue exploring in the afternoon, possibly spotting large troops of baboons or even a lion resting in the trees. By late afternoon, head to your accommodation near Tarangire National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Around noon, stop for a picnic lunch within the park, savoring views of baobab-dotted landscapes. Continue your safari in the afternoon, discovering more of the park's unique wildlife and birdlife, before departing back to Arusha by late afternoon.
