Upon arrival, we’ll check into our camp, nestled in the forest, where we can enjoy a quiet afternoon. As we settle in, there’s a sense of excitement knowing that tomorrow, we’ll step into the world of wild chimpanzees.

Today is all about trekking into the forest to observe the chimpanzees of Gombe. The trek can be challenging, but it’s immensely rewarding. Following trails through the lush forest, we’ll listen for the calls of the chimps and watch as they interact in their complex social groups. There’s something almost magical about seeing these creatures up close, understanding that we share so much with them. After a morning with the chimps, we’ll return to camp for lunch, with the rest of the day free to relax by the lake or take a gentle hike to nearby waterfalls.
