Transfer from Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire followed by game drive.

You'll start your journey from your Arusha/Moshi hotel or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport, embarking on a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once there, a full-day game drive awaits, accompanied by a satisfying hot lunch within the park. Later, the drive continues to your overnight accommodation for dinner and stay.

The Tarangire National Park park is a haven for wildlife, boasting herds of up to 300 elephants, scraping the river beds for elusive streams. Witness nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and an array of antelope congregating around shrinking lagoons. It holds the highest concentration of wildlife beyond the Serengeti, a paradise for predators. Here, unique species like the elegant fringe-eared oryx and the distinctive long-necked gerenuk are commonly sighted—a rarity elsewhere in Tanzania.

Moreover, Tarangire is the exclusive park where migratory animals find refuge during the dry season, welcoming a diverse range of species back home.

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll set off to explore the hidden gems of Tarangire National Park. Today, we’ll venture into the quieter southern regions of the park, where the magic of the wilderness truly comes alive.

As we drive through the park, we’ll make our way to the expansive swamps that are bustling with life, especially during the dry season. Here, you might spot some fascinating wildlife, like tree-climbing pythons lounging in the branches or the rare silale-swamp lions basking in the sun. Keep your eyes peeled for the playful African wild dogs too! And if you’re a bird lover, you’re in for a treat. The vibrant Vulturine Guinea fowl and the stunning Yellow-collared lovebird are just a couple of the colorful species we might encounter.

If you’re feeling adventurous, we can also arrange a guided walking safari. This is a fantastic way to connect with the environment on a deeper level. You’ll have the chance to observe the smaller details of the bush, from animal tracks to the diverse plant life, all while quietly moving through the wilderness.

Exploring these less-traveled areas of Tarangire gives you a chance to experience the park’s true wilderness away from the crowds. After a day filled with incredible wildlife sightings and unforgettable moments, we’ll head back to our lodge or campsite in the late afternoon.

Full day game drives at central Serengeti.

Today's game drive begins at sunrise. Following a simple breakfast of coffee and snacks, the morning drive kicks off around 6:00 am, a time when the Serengeti plains are bustling with activity, offering prime opportunities to spot numerous animals and birds.

During this period, animals and birds are stirring, predators are on the hunt for prey, and herbivores are grazing on grass. It's an excellent time to witness diverse wildlife behaviors, including animal hunts, and capture memorable photographs.

After the morning drive, you'll return to the lodge (or picnic site) for a hearty breakfast. Then, the afternoon drive, along with lunch, continues until evening. After full-day game drives, you will have dinner at your overnight accommodation.

Early morning game drive at Serengeti followed by afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area.

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive when the animals are more active. Also witness one of the best sunrises you'll ever see. It's really an exceptionally beautiful experience.

After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we'll proceed towards Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World.

The drive takes you back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals that eluded you before. You will see wildebeest and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the mighty African elephant and the predators. You will have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself, the lion.

You should reach Ngorongoro region in time for a sundowner.

The eventful day comes to an end with a dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

Transfer from Ngorongoro region to Lake Manyara for game drives, followed by a drive to Arusha.

This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha.

Everything you will see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary).

The park’s namesake is a shallow salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds including flamingos and over 500 other bird species.

You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and look out for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park.

After your game drive, we will take you to Arusha.
