Depart from Arusha after breakfast and drive approximately 2.5–3 hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife near the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch under the shade of a baobab. Dinner and overnight will be near the park or en route to Karatu.

After breakfast in Karatu, depart for the Central Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (~6–7 hours total drive). Along the way, you'll pass scenic highlands and Maasai villages. Enjoy a game drive en route into the plains of the Serengeti, arriving at your camp or lodge by late afternoon.

Enjoy a full day exploring the Central Serengeti, where resident wildlife like lions, leopards, giraffes, and large buffalo herds thrive year-round. During the calving season (Jan–Mar), expect to see wildebeest giving birth and an increase in predator activity. Picnic lunch or return to camp depending on your location.

Another day in the Serengeti to deepen your experience. Explore different areas of the Seronera Valley, known for frequent big cat sightings. You might track lions at sunrise or follow cheetahs across the plains. Depending on the season, you may visit areas with high migratory activity. Meals and overnight at your Serengeti camp.

After a morning game drive and early lunch, depart Central Serengeti and drive back (~6–7 hours) to Karatu or Ngorongoro rim. The drive offers chances to spot elephants and scenic views as you ascend the Ngorongoro highlands. Overnight in Karatu or a lodge near the crater rim.

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning for a 5–6 hour game drive. Expect to see lions, black rhinos, large elephant bulls, zebras, wildebeest, and flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi. After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, drive 3.5–4 hours back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
