It’s been 2 weeks since I came back from Tanzania but I am still dreaming about the journey I had in Kilimanjaro. Prior of the trip, I contacted and asked many questions because it was my first time to Africa and also attempting the tallest mountain in Africa. Elias gave all positive answers and tried to accommodate all of my requests. I even asked to change my accommodation at the last mins and he made it happen. I didn’t have Tanzanian mobile number and when I finally got the internet connection, I found out he tried to reach out to inform that driver was ready and waited for me at the airport. These little details made me very comfortable even before my hiking begins. During the hiking, we were 7 hikers in our group so we had pretty big crew with us. We had 3 guides who leaded us to the top. All of them were very experienced and took special care to make all of us successfully make to the summit. I was only person who signed up for 6 days route instead of 7 days of Machame route in our team. I had to be separated from others and made summit with smaller crews last 2 days. Goodchance was my guide for the rest of journey. I had a problem with my headlight from the beginning of summiting. The batteries I put in the head lantern was not working and the light was on and off. Goodchance asked every single person who were descending, we finally got new batteries from random people at the middle of night and the problem solved. It would been so much difficult if I had to use not the proper lantern for the summit night. The chef, waiters and porters were very friendly and help us to be as comfortable as we could on the mountain. One day they asked what our favorite food were, I said ‘Pizza’ and they actually made pizza in the middle of nowhere 3800m high on the mountain. I am still curious how they made the pizza. They also prepared very delicious traditional Chaga soup with bananas and veggies. None of us could ever lose our appetite in the high altitude. These were little things how Nafika Tours made us feel like home while we hiked the tallest mountain in Africa. They were professional for their job so we could make thing possible. I think these things make Nafika special and different from others. Choosing Nafika tour was the best choice I made for the Kilimanjaro hiking. Nafika Tours did an excellent job at communicating and provided a great experience for my tour to Kilimanjaro. From the time my plane landed to the time I took off it was easy and enjoyable experience. While hiking the local guide and team helped me overcome the altitude. We ended up having a lovely morning at the top and had met some interesting people along the way.

Each morning, he greeted us within minutes of waking up with a fresh cup of tea or coffee—a small gesture that meant so much. Special mention to our summit porters Sulupis and Jumanne for their incredible support during summit night, and to the rest of our porter team—Brayson, Erick, Cuthbert, Adam, Amimiel, Simon, Driving, and Jamri—who carried our gear, set up camp, and never stopped smiling or encouraging us along the way. The entire Nafika team made our journey unforgettable. Their professionalism, passion, and positivity were evident at every step. If you're considering a trek in Tanzania, I cannot recommend Nafika Tours enough. They go above and beyond—and if I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

When I struggled with exhaustion on the descent, Patrick, Max, Bryson, and Elwad went out of their way to guide and support me safely down, helping with every step and making sure I didn’t fall. That care and effort meant everything. This was more than a guided trek it felt like we were welcomed into a family. Their warmth, professionalism, and human touch turned what could have been a grueling experience into a deeply memorable and emotional one. To the entire Nafika team thank you. we had a wonderful safari adventure with our whole family! We visited several National Parks and were lucky to see so many amazing animals ,leopards, lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many more. :) Our guide, Kelvin, was fantastic. He’s very knowledgeable and made the entire safari experience even better by sharing so much interesting information about the animals and nature in Tanzania. The safari vehicle and accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Nafika Tours to anyone thinking about going on a safari. This trip gave us memories we will treasure forever!

We had a truly unforgettable experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Nafika Tours. From the very beginning, their organization was excellent both before the trip and throughout the entire journey. I was a bit nervous about attempting the summit with my family, but I quickly felt at ease thanks to our amazing head guide, Meshakii , and Ben. They took care of everything, and we completely trusted him. The climb itself and reaching the summit was an experience we will cherish forever. The whole team Meshakii, Ben, our wonderful cook Anold, and all the porters (the strong and joyful Kili Fighters) were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, kind, always smiling, and clearly loved what they do with Nafika Tours. The food was delicious, and they thoughtfully took care of all our dietary needs. Even the toilet was well taken care of, something you really appreciate on a mountain! All the equipment provided by Nafika Tours was in great condition and very comfortable from the tents and sleeping bags to the chairs, tables, and mattresses. My family truly loved this adventure. It wasn’t just a vacation, it was something deeper, a journey filled with friendship and team spirit. The positive energy of the whole group gave us so much strength, and I never once doubted we would make it to the top. Everything was exceptionally well organized, I didn’t have to worry about a single detail. From the hotel stays before and after the Kilimanjaro trek, to airport transfers and every part of the journey, everything was perfectly arranged and ready for me. The trek to Kilimanjaro was incredibly challenging, but thanks to the amazing support team especially our guide Eli we successfully reached the summit. We had an unforgettable experience with Nafika Tours! Before our trip, we compared over 15 different companies for both Mt. Kilimanjaro and safari tours. We chose Nafika because they were quick to respond, willing to meet all our requests, and reasonably priced. We are so happy we picked them everything went far beyond our expectations. On the mountain, our main guide, Inocent, and his amazing team were not only professional but also very kind and supportive. They helped us in every way possible, even serving delicious meals, and made sure we felt safe and cared for during the entire climb. The medical checks, the good quality tents, sleeping bags, and mattresses all made a big difference. The porters were incredibly helpful too whenever we reached a camp, everything was already set up for us. Reaching the summit was tough, but with the constant encouragement and support from our guide, we made it to the top! During our safari, we were guided by Octavian, whose knowledge and experience helped us see all of the Big Five and many more animals, even in a short time. We also stayed in a lovely tented camp and enjoyed some really tasty food. Even though we didn’t have time for more tours due to our flight schedule, Nafika was very flexible and adjusted everything to fit our timing perfectly. They even arranged airport transfers, with Brayan he was kindly picking us up at 1am! All of these wonderful arrangements were made by Elias, who was so kind, helpful, and trustworthy from the very beginning. Our experience with Nafika Tours was truly one of the best we have ever had, and would love to travel with them again when we return to Tanzania!

Climbing Kilimanjaro was the hardest thing we have ever done. When we decided to do it, we didn't conduct much research; we simply planned to attempt it while in Tanzania for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we looked for trustworthy tour guides, as we had read about scams online. We were initially skeptical about booking online, but choosing this local tour guide turned out to be a fantastic decision! Elias was incredibly helpful, always easy to contact, and assisted us with all our questions and concerns. He even managed to organize everything at the last minute. I just completed my Kilimanjaro hike via the Machame Route and a 5-day safari with Nafika Tours, and I can honestly say it was the best experience of my life. We were 5 climbers and had 3 guides and 20 porters all organized by Elias of Nafika Tours. I could not have asked for a better experience and team. The Nafika crew was the best on the mountain with regards to organization, positive energy, and friendliness. We clearly had the best guides and campsites!!! Would 100% recommend booking with Elias and trekking Kilimanjaro with Nafika! Three siblings and Dad, celebrating his 69th birthday, summited Kilimanjaro on 10 March via the 8 day Lemosho route. The Nafika team was amazing from start to finish. Guides Innocent and Declan were unwavering in their support to get us to Uhuru Peak! Food was fantastic, and we were continuously surprised and delighted at the meals that Chef Priver managed to prepare for us on the mountain. He even baked a delicious birthday cake and we all enjoyed celebrations at Shira 1 Camp. The whole team was friendly and kind and we were so well cared for! We had health checks every evening (including pulse oximeter readings) to ensure we were all on track with adjusting to the altitude. The porters are super-humans! Tents were comfortable, sleeping bags snug and warm - used our own as well as Nafika's (& we each brought along our own travel-sized memory foam pillow!), private loo was a win and definitely recommend! Oh so happy to have climbed this mountain!!! The summit was worth every challenging step!! Due to a change in flight schedule we had an extra two days to spend, after our Trek. Elias quickly came back to us with a plan to see Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater - Our driver guide Ronald was great, and it was the cherry on top to visit these two reserves before departing Tanzania! Tarangire was absolutely beautiful with lush green grass, tall baobabs, moody skies and the odd downpour. The Ngorongoro Crater was an incredible natural wonder to visit and we enjoyed making our way through herds of zebra and wildebeest!! Enjoyed fantastic birding at both! Thank you Nafika!!

I just returned from my trip, and it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. The guides and porters were incredibly kind and helpful, always putting our safety first it was clear how much they cared. All six climbers in our group successfully reached the summit on the 8-day Lemosho route! Elias planned my Kilimanjaro trip, and he was absolutely fantastic professional, thoughtful, and always quick to respond. The staff on our trek were so warm and kind, making the journey even more special. The food was beyond amazing, exceeding all our expectations! As a vegetarian (with a vegan in our group), we knew we wouldn’t be the easiest to accommodate, but they made sure we were well taken care of. Our guides were not only highly experienced and knowledgeable but also fun and encouraging. Thanks to their support, we all made it to the summit! I rented trekking poles and a sleeping bag from Nafika Tours, and both were in excellent condition. After the trek, I went on a 3-day safari, which was absolutely incredible. My guide Ronald was fantastic, and I saw more animals than I ever imagined. The hotels and food were also amazing. Nafika Tours deserves five stars all the way , Best experience of my life.
