Even after climbing Kilimanjaro many times, there are a few moments that still feel magical to me. One is watching the sunrise at Stella Point the sky turns orange and pink, and you feel like you’re standing on top of the world. Another moment I love is walking through the Barranco Wall. Seeing my clients overcome it with big smiles always reminds me why this mountain is so special.

One story that always reminds me how strong our team is happened during a safari in the Serengeti. One of our clients suddenly felt unwell after lunch nothing serious, but enough to worry them. Our guide immediately contacted our operations team, and within minutes we arranged a check-up with a nearby medical response unit. While waiting, the guide kept the client calm, offered water, and made sure they were comfortable. Our team also changed the itinerary so the rest of the group could continue enjoying the game drive without pressure. After the medical team arrived and confirmed it was just dehydration, we moved the client to a comfortable lodge where our staff stayed close the entire evening, checking on them and preparing light meals. The next morning, the client felt fully recovered and thanked our team for being so fast, caring, and organized. They were able to continue the safari and ended the trip feeling safe and well looked after.
