Meet Goodluck – The Lion Whisperer of Serengeti 🦁 One of our most experienced guides, Goodluck, once calmly navigated a moment that would terrify most. During a sunrise game drive in Serengeti, a pride of lions unexpectedly surrounded the vehicle — not aggressively, but curiously. While guests froze in awe, Goodluck softly whispered, “Don’t move. While they were still at the airport, Angela from our reservations team rebooked their flight for the next available slot. Meanwhile, Hope, one of our top coordinators in Arusha, reorganized the entire safari schedule in real time — adjusting game drive timings, rescheduling accommodation check-ins, and even surprising the guests with a complimentary bush dinner to ease the stress of the delay. One morning in Tarangire, our guide Emmanuel spotted two male lions long before anyone else — even though they were completely hidden in tall grass. Most vehicles drove past without noticing anything unusual. But Emmanuel stopped the jeep, smiled, and told our guests: ‘Watch this spot carefully… something is about to happen.’ Within seconds, a massive lion lifted its head, followed by another. They were stalking a group of unsuspecting impalas.
