Board a morning flight from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti (approx. 2 hrs; timing depends on carrier). Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and begin the journey westward to Grumeti. This region, bordering the Grumeti River, is known for its giant crocodiles, large prides of lions, and seasonal wildebeest movements. Stop for a bush picnic lunch along the way and enjoy game viewing en route. Arrive at your tented camp by late afternoon, just in time for a brief sunset game drive.
