Ndutu Wilderness Camp is a seasonal tented camp located in the Ndutu area of the Serengeti ecosystem, operating from December to March to coincide with the calving season of the wildebeest. This intimate camp offers a traditional “under canvas” safari experience, providing guests with the opportunity to witness the Great Migration and the numerous predators that follow the herds.

The camp features 12 spacious tents, including a family tent, each equipped with solar lighting and en-suite facilities with flush toilets and bucket showers. The tents are comfortably furnished with quality linens, ensuring a good night’s rest. The camp also has a communal lounge and bar area, a large dining tent, and offers Wi-Fi for guests. Meals are prepared by a safari chef and can be enjoyed either in the dining tent or al fresco.

Accessibility

Ndutu Wilderness Camp is accessible from various points in northern Tanzania:

• From Arusha: Approximately a 6-hour drive.

• From Tarangire/Manyara: About 4-5 hours by road.

• From Ngorongoro Crater: Around a 2-3 hour drive.

• From Central Serengeti: Roughly 2-3 hours by road.

The camp is also close to the Ndutu airstrip, making it accessible via a short flight from Arusha. Its prime location in the Ndutu plains offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, especially during the calving season when predators are abundant
