MJ Safaris & Adventure was introduced to us by a friend from a social platform when we had a sudden idea to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. After inquiring at several different agencies, including both Chinese and local ones in terms of price and professional services, we made a quick decision to   Follow MJ Safaris & Adventure. Meanwhile, the more we got in touch with its boss Jackson, the more touched and warmed we felt towards this nice man, a faithful Christian and considerate & experienced African tourist services provider. The trekking guiding team, including guides, a cook, and porters, and all equipment from MJ Safaris, is all perfect and highly qualified. The team members are plain, capable, and warmhearted. Thanks to their help, we finally stood on the top of the African lands and enjoyed that attractive and splendid view, sunrise, clouds, sea, glaciers, the power of nature, the spirits of bravery and persistence, so on and so forth. On the mountain, the guides and porters are experts and anticipate your every need. The guides are medically trained, and the chefs are trained at the Culinary Institute of America. This company is truly magnificent. Our airline lost our luggage on the way in, and MJ Safaris & Adventure rented us all of our gear for FREE and then had a porter deliver our luggage to us on the mountain when it arrived. I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route and followed it with a safari in the Serengeti and it was the perfect adventure. The climb was challenging but beautiful, with amazing views every day. The guides kept me safe, motivated, and well-prepared for the summit, and reaching Uhuru Peak was a moment I’ll never forget. After the climb, I headed to the Serengeti, and it was everything I dreamed of and more. The landscapes were absolutely stunning endless plains, colorful skies, and peaceful sunsets. I saw so many animals up close, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and even a cheetah. This combination of mountain and safari made my trip unforgettable. The Machame Route tested my strength, and the Serengeti filled me with wonder. It was the perfect way to experience the wild beauty of Tanzania from two incredible angles.

From booking to the final game drive, this trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Starting with the challenging Machame route up Kilimanjaro, then transitioning to an incredible safari through Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire was absolutely perfect. The staff at every mountain camp and safari lodge we stayed at were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the porters and guides on Kilimanjaro to the lodge staff in the Serengeti, everyone made us feel at home. We had an amazing time. We did the 8-day Kilimanjaro trek through with MJ Safaris & Adventure. Their services were exemplary; they delivered what they promised and beyond. The trek guides and porters were very helpful and proactive. They made sure all the 10 of us from our group summited successfully and returned to the base safely. I would strongly recommend MJ Safaris to anyone who is looking for the right trekking company to do the Kilimanjaro trek. I can't say enough good things. From the first contact with Pamela by email and Skype, to the experienced, reliable, knowledgeable, safe guides with Juma, Julius. And the whole crew...we celebrated our summit together. was so proud to see our MJ Safaris tents, our tea table complete with tablecloth in the middle of our hike with tea and snacks, and the little touches like wake-up coffee or tea at the tent each morning, and the bunny hot water bottle each night. We booked MJ Safaris for a custom tour of Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Hassani, our guide, was amazing! He made sure that we're comfortable and safe throughout the trip. He was super knowledgeable about Tanzania and was an expert in finding the animals during our game drive. I totally recommend them!

Hard to imagine ways MJ Safaris & Adventure could have made this trip any better. The food was plentiful and delicious (I did not need snacks even though I would still recommend them), the crew was cheerful and supportive, the price was competitive. My group had hikers of varying skill levels and the crew was able to accommodate each of us perfectly. Honestly I struggle to find something just to nitpick. I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Rongai Route, and altitude sickness was handled perfectly by our guide Peter. He closely monitored me throughout the trek, making sure I stayed healthy and adjusted well to the changing altitude. Peter’s careful attention and advice allowed me to enjoy the entire climb without worrying about altitude problems. His support made a big difference, especially on the more challenging days. Thanks to Peter’s experience and care, I was able to focus on the beautiful scenery and the adventure itself. The Rongai Route was a fantastic choice, and having such a skilled guide made the journey even better.

We are very happy that we selected MJ Safaris & Adventure for our Kili climb as this was the best choice. We booked a private family trip and could not have been served better. Our guides and our crew were extremely professional and helpful, taking care of every little detail and our health. We spent a wonderful time together and did learn a lot from them.
