Not long ago, one of our clients got sick while on a safari, and he could not continue with the rest of the group. Our lead guide quickly informed the head office, and before we knew it the guide had made a phone call to the AMREF office, who airlifted the client back to Nairobi for further medication at Nairobi Hospital. It only took 45 minutes from the Maasai Mara to Nairobi, by flight, the client got good medication on time, and later joined the trip after 3 days to Amboseli National Park.
