As you enter the park, you’ll follow game tracks along the Tarangire River, where herds of zebra, wildebeest, and buffalo gather to drink. This park also offers the chance to spot tree-climbing pythons and an impressive variety of birds. Ngorongoro Crater
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater — one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to nearly all of the Big Five, including black rhino, lions, and large bull elephants. With luck, you might spot hippos in the marshes or hyenas roaming the open plains. After a half-day safari in the crater, you’ll drive back to Arusha, reaching in the late afternoon, filled with stories from one of Tanzania’s most iconic regions.
