One powerful example of their dedication and expertise occurred during a routine game drive. One of our experienced guides was out in the wild with his guests, working diligently to track wildlife. During the drive, they unexpectedly encountered a young male elephant that began charging aggressively toward their vehicle, trumpeting loudly and closing the distance at high speed.
In a moment that could have caused panic, our guide remained calm and reassured the guests, instructing them to stay still and composed. He then slowly and skillfully maneuvered the vehicle away from the path of the elephant. Thanks to his calm decision-making and deep understanding of animal behavior, the group safely escaped the encounter.
What could have been a frightening incident turned into a thrilling and memorable experience—one that the guests later described as one of the most exciting parts of their safari. All of it was made possible by a guide whose expertise, courage, and composure turned a challenge into a highlight of the trip.

Recognized as one of the greatest wildlife reserves in the world, Serengeti National Park offers an unparalleled safari experience. The Central Serengeti is especially rich in wildlife, where guests can often spot animals up close, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, and more—all roaming freely across the endless, scenic plains. One of the park's most iconic events is the Great Wildebeest Migration, which usually occurs during the dry season, when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River—an awe-inspiring natural spectacle and a highlight of any safari.

We communicated directly with the airline, tracked down the missing luggage, and made every effort to ensure the issue was resolved as quickly as possible. Thanks to our team's persistence and coordination, the luggage was found and safely delivered to the client’s hotel. He was so knowledgeable and clearly loved what he did. He also constantly got us in the best positions to observe the animals. He also listened to our wishes (I really wanted to see big cats) and did everything he could to make those happen.

Wish I could give 6 stars! Our guide, Norton, was superb — knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and incredibly passionate about animals and nature. He went above and beyond to find everything we hoped to see, and he succeeded every time! I can’t say enough good things about Norton! The company itself was extremely professional. They contacted us before our arrival to confirm pick-up details, and everything went smoothly. Over the 11 days, across 4 different parks, we always felt well taken care of. Even after the safari, we extended our stay in Arusha, and they handled everything, including the hotel and tour. It’s rare to find such a well-organized, professional team. What a difference from our previous experience in Kenya! Six stars at least!!!

We spent 6 wonderful days with Kindo, our guide, who was an incredible asset in helping us see as much wildlife as possible. Sometimes he followed the other 4x4s, and other times he took his own route through the savannah. The driving was very safe, and we always felt comfortable, which made it easy to enjoy Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro parks—highly recommended by all four of us! The agency was very responsive to our requests and provided us with great hotels. There was always water and Coca-Cola on board for the 6 days, and we never ran out of anything. There were a few last-minute hotel changes, but the agency made up for it, and Godlisen, who runs the agency, was very responsive and adapted to the situation. We recommend checking the program a month ahead to ensure everything is in order. We are very happy to have traveled with Colours Africa Safari and highly recommend traveling with Kindo!

We saw the Big 5 and many other animals in the stunning wildlife parks and enjoyed the warm, laid-back Tanzanian culture. After the safari, we visited Mafia Island, where we swam with whale sharks and tropical fish. Our guides, Kindu and Godlisten from Colours Africa, were great company, highly knowledgeable, and had everything organized down to the last detail. This made the trip an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it!
